1) Beach Camping. This is the cheapest and closest we can possibly come to a beach rental. There's nothing like an evening/night walk on the beach.
2) Hike Mt. Tamilpias. Beautiful hike on a mountain that overlooks the San Francisco Bay and surrounded by redwoods. We'll have to invest in a baby-carrier.
3) Use that National Parks Pass! Yosemite (Half-dome), Sequoia, Redwood.
4) Lake Tahoe. Amazing place, a definite must-see.
5) Mt. Shasta. Really lofty, but why not??
6) Solvang/Hearst Castle/Santa Barbara. Solvang is a dutch town in southern california. Hearst Castle is a historical landmark nearby, and Santa Barbara is just amazing.
7) Old town Sacramento. Wild wild west! Taste of what things looked like during the 1849 Gold Rush.
8) Red Sox vs. Giants. Showdown in Covey Cove.
9) Wicked. It's only in San Francisco, New York, Sydney, and London. Got to take advantage.
10) Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Combines beach, cotton candy and roller coasters.
11) San Francisco/Alcatraz.
12) Monterey Bay Aquarium. Most amazing aquarium.

You're making me so jealous! I'd love to join you for any one of those. We could always meet you in Solvang - it's almost halfway.
You can have our baby carrier!! BUT YOU HAVE TO COME HERE TO GET IT!!!! :) Wehave the nice Kelty back pack you can have too...same rules apply--I think madie might be walking by the time we meet! :)
You know Mom, it would be awesome to meet you in Solvang. It would also be fun to try and do Half-Dome with Dad. We have always talked about doing that together when we were in Morgan Hill. And Tiff, we would love to take the baby carrier from you! That would be SOO nice! We are trying to put something together to head out there this year, but unfortunately it probably won't be until after the summer.
I love the list!
