Say hello to Griselda

Coming up on the 4th year of ownership and 12th year of its existence, the end was very near for our beloved 1998 Nissan Altima. It has been through a lot, but after spending $2,500 to keep the vehicle running this past year we have decided to invest in a newer car. We splurged on a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta that only had 65,000 miles. We call her Griselda, which means "Grey battle maiden". Since it's a German car, we had to find a cool matching name!

Depending on the type of person you are, you will either find this boring or interesting. I think its fun! Here is where I have driven the Altima throughout my tenure:

2006

-Purchased in Queen Creek, AZ

-Drove from Mesa, AZ to Rexburg, ID

-Fourth of July weekend, drove through Idaho, Oregon, and into Seattle, WA to visit Holly, Jeff, and Claire. Drove through Cour de Lane, ID and Montana in return to Rexburg, ID.

-Numerous trips to Salt Lake City/Orem to visit family

-End of fall semester, drove from Rexburg, ID to Mesa, AZ to work for the winter

2007

-Returned to school in Rexburg

-Numerous trips to Salt Lake City/Orem to visit family

-Drove Mal to meet the parents for Thanksgiving to Mesa, AZ, and returned to Rexburg at the end of the week

2008

-Numerous trips to Salt Lake City/Orem to visit family

-Honeymoon! From Park City, UT to Mesa, AZ to San Diego, CA to Rexburg, ID!

2009

-Numerous trips to Salt Lake City/Orem to visit family

-Big Road Trip! From Rexburg, ID to Orem, UT through Cheyenne, WY to Denver, CO through Omaha, NB, to Iowa City, IA....RETURN: Iowa City, IA to Rapid City, SD and the black hills, through Butte, MT and back to Rexburg, ID!

-Rexburg, ID to Yellowstone, NP for Watkins family reunion

2010

-Moved down to Salt Lake City

-Traded in to Volkswagen Dealership
