One of our favorite Sunday activities has always been going for walks. Now that we live in a place with great family hiking, we often do that instead. The first weekend in October is the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we stay home to watch it online. There are two sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday, and in between is a two hour break, during which we used to take our Sunday walks. Here on the East Coast, it doesn't start until 12 pm, so we spent the morning hiking. It was a gorgeous fall day.

| We hiked Parkman Mountain. Madie is usually the front-runner, but I jogged up ahead to snap this shot. |

Madie wouldn't join in the picture, but this was the first time she had hiked it too.
